Victoria Getman couldn’t walk past a hungry cat. That one decision, made 15 years ago, changed hundreds of lives — including hers.
What started as feeding one stray near her home grew into managing entire cat colonies across Limassol. The first shelter was an abandoned farm in Fasoula — crumbling buildings, no running water, no fences. Victoria rebuilt it with her own hands.
Three years ago, her dream became real: a proper shelter in Agios Tychonas, surrounded by Mediterranean hills. Hundreds of cats have already found families in Cyprus, Germany, Netherlands, UK, Poland, and beyond.
But here's what most people don't know: Victoria does all of this alone. Every day. Feeding 200 cats, cleaning, vet trips, construction, social media — before and after her full-time job. No days off. No vacations.
Nestled in the hills of Agios Tychonas with a Mediterranean breeze, our shelter is a place where cats play, heal, and wait for the family they deserve.
